Just tried this place & we really liked it.

The atmosphere is cute with the surfboard tables & floor paintings.  It was also clean, which is a big plus with me.

The guy at the cash register was nice & helpful.

I don't eat red meat, so I asked if I could exchange any burger on their menu with a turkey burger (even though they have a turkey burger on the menu), and I was told yes.  That's another big plus!  I had the Lava Burger & it was very tasty, with the right amount of "heat" with the jalapenos & pepper jack cheese (I like spicy food & this wasn't too spicy).  Spouse had the "Mini Burgers" off the kid's menu & these are NOT mini!  She felt that just one of the mini burgers was plenty for even most adults!  Even the sides are HUGE.  I had onion rings & the basket was more than enough for two of us.  They were good.  Spouse had the side salad, which was also huge, enough for 2 people.  Salad wasn't anything special.  We thought the sides might be small, so also ordered fries (mostly to try them out), and again, that was a huge amount of fries.  Fries were OK, nothing special.  We were stuffed, so ended up giving our fries to a guy at a nearby table.

Prices are fair.  Location is great.  We'll most definitely be back.  Not too many turkey burgers around & this one was really yummy!

If you're in town looking for a good burger, this is THE SPOT. I came on a slow Wednesday night, and I was the only customer in the store, and part of that is the reason I'm giving it 3 stars. The restaurant being that slow, I would hope the staff would take care of some cleaning, but the spot very dirty, and it had me concerned with the quality of the kitchen. The floor, tables, and especially condiments (hot sauce, mustard, ketchup bottles), were disgusting to touch and look at because of the easily washable dirt and grime on them.
The redeeming aspect however is how absolutely amazing the burgers are. If you're just looking for a great burger, look no further. They have plenty of options and are lenient with customizations, and the ingredients are simply great. The meat is tender, juicy, and superb. The presentation and size of the burger is beautiful.
That's where it ends however, as I've tried all the sides and they're all disappointing- there's an obvious taste of frying frozen french fries/sweet potato fries in reused oil. My suggestion is to increase the temperature so they come out less soggy, and hit them with seasoning before serving so they have more flavor. The portions are large, but large amounts of soggy non-tasty fries isn't the best thing.

Summary: If the restaurant can improve quality of the side orders and work on cleanliness like they've mastered their burgers, this will be a Pacifica bucket-list spot.

Just had a rough experience here. The beef was undercooked to the point of bloody and the bun had mold on it. I let the hostess know, who was very apologetic and willing to fix these issues. I just wanted to go home at that point, so I asked for a refund and let her know it was no biggie, but maybe to let the owner know that the "new chef" is not up to par. The owner ended up coming in because the hostess wasn't trained on how to give a refund. The hostess was really polite about everything during this transaction, but the owner refused to look at me and gave the hostess the cash to hand to me instead of dealing with it himself. When I let him know that I was more concerned about the food safety rather than the refund, he barely responded with a "well, sorry!"

All I gotta say is, just skip it. The rudeness from the owner is what made me write this review. He does not care about our community's health.

Great burgers, horrendous service. Place was not busy, but the employee was slow to take our order. Food took a while to come, and they got our order wrong despite the receipt listing the right things. She was very grumpy the whole time and never apologized.

The only redeeming quality is the food. I just wish they have better staff. I'm courteous when talking to people, so I expect some common courtesy and don't want to see her pissy attitude.

Went on a Saturday after the lunch hour and we were able to find a seat and get service right away. The menu is awesome, and there are lots of varieties of burgers to choose from, including some garden/veggie choices. I had the regular "Burger Board", and requested to have it cooked medium, which they nailed (medium well is the standard unless you request otherwise). I also ordered some of their buffalo wings, which came with a generous side of bleu cheese as a dipping sauce. The wing sauce was really good, and they cooked the wings well, but the wings themselves seemed to be "second tier" in terms of size, quality, and consistency. Service was friendly, and the decor with the surf board tables is fun!

Biggest reasons for 4 stars was the price and the quality of the fries. The fries are all "sides", and none come with the burgers automatically. So, you end up paying $10-15 for the burger itself...with no fries included. Don't get me wrong, the burger quality is really quite good, I just felt like there are similar places that charge the same, but include some sort of side.

In terms of the French Fry quality, I have two suggestions: cook the fries at a slightly higher temperature so they come out a bit more crispy, and season them with at least a little bit of salt as soon as they come out of the fryer. This is a personal opinion obviously, but I felt that even with the added garlic/herbs, the fries were a) a bit bland and b) a little too soggy for me to give an overall 5-star review.

This place is definitely worth a visit, especially if you're in the mood for a really good burger where the beef is sourced from Harris Ranch
